IN FERRARA





Ferrara has a really nice selection of hotels, agriturisimo, B&B - wild luxury, super romantic or simple and cozy and cheap.


The large selection is due to the many Italian tourists who visit the city all year round due to the many events and restaurants.


It is very easy to find your way around the large selection via various search services and smart filters, which find the best price and location.


I can recommend choosing hotels within the city walls (it will always be stated on the site's website).


Virtually all hotels in the city have free parking or shuttle bus to and from the airport. The service is generally really good and the staff really stand on sticks for their guests.Ferrara has a really nice selection of accommodation options and here is something for every taste and budget.

Here I describe a suggestion of three accommodation options. I am by no means paid to recommend these places and just show them as an example of the range of the committee.



Hotel Annunziata:

Website: https://www.annunziata.it/ Cozy hotel right in the center of Ferrara with walking distance to all sights and beautiful views of Castello Estense. Here is parking, bike rental, dog permit, wonderful breakfast and many delicious in-room services. ​



Bed & Breakfast Alchimia:

Website: http://www.alchimiaferrara.it/ One of my own favorites.


The place is run by a wonderfully sweet family and Mum herself, lives in the inner courtyard of the cutest little house. You can sit in the beautiful garden and enjoy your morning coffee and Mum's cat and her two garden turtles snuggle comfortably around you.


This small cozy Bed & Breakfast has a fantastic delicious breakfast and is located 350 meters from the center and with botanical garden just around the corner. Parking is included here and you must bring your pet with you. They also have bicycles for free use.

I myself have not had the pleasure of Villa Horti della Fasanara but know that this is a REALLY exquisite example of Italian romanza at its best.


The hotel is located about 2 km from the center, close to the beautiful city wall which is definitely ideal for eg a romantic picnic with his beloved, oh la la, to sit here under the big old trees with his beloved in hand.
